Play Dough from your Microwave

In this article there is a  recipe you may use to make play dough for your children. When you get the hang of it, you could even be ready to teach your kids the way to make it.

Microwave Play Dough

  • two cups flour
  • one cup salt
  • four Tbs oil
  • two cups water
  • four tsp cream of tartar
  • food colouring

Mix all ingredients in a container suitable for the microwave. Microwave on high for three to five mins, stirring every minute. Let mix cool.

Divide and knead in food colouring. Store in a sealed jar.

You are able to add smells to the playdough -try vanilla or peppermint essence.
